SNAP: Spay/Neuter Assistance Program
The goal of the program is to provide financial assistance to spay or neuter dogs in need in the Fredericton area. Click here for more information.

In the fall of 2007, Kindness Club Inc. launched a Spay and Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) for dogs in the Fredericton, Oromocto and surrounding areas. This program intends to reduce the pet overpopulation and the number of abandoned dogs left homeless each year. The Club provides financial aid to spay or neuter dogs in need. Low income families who have dogs as family pets may apply to our program to receive assistance which will help cover the cost of a spay or neuter operation.

Kindness Club Inc. 50th Anniversary Celebration
KCI celebrated its 50th anniversary in conjunction with Canada Day, July 1, 2009. The Club distributed Canada day tattoos, as well as dog treats and biodegradable poop bags at "The Paw Stop" (a doggie rest station for pets and their owners). To help raise money for Spay and Neuter Assistance (S.N.A.P), Canada Day bandannas were sold to event participants. Look for us next year on The Green. We plan to have different fun and exciting activities for pets and their families!
