Chickadee Cat Club
2009 Cat Show
This summer, the Chickadee Cat Club
of Fredericton, NB hosted their 2nd
annual Cat Show. The show benefactor was Kindness
Club Inc. They wanted to recognize all the work
that KCI has done for cats in the community. A portion
of the gate proceeds went to KCI, which totaled
$500. The money will be used to purchase cat food
for cats in need and will be distributed to local
food banks.
Kindness Club Inc.
50th Anniversary Celebration
KCI celebrated its 50th anniversary in conjunction
with Canada Day, July 1, 2009. The Club distributed
Canada day tattoos, as well as dog treats and biodegradable
poop bags at "The Paw Stop"
(a doggie rest station for pets and their owners).
To help raise money for Spay
and Neuter Assistance (S.N.A.P),
Canada Day bandannas were sold to event participants.
Look for us next year on The Green. We
plan to have different fun and exciting activities
for pets and their families!
